What is celiac disease?

If these tests do not detect it, an intestinal biopsy will be performed.

What treatment exists for this disease?

Currently, there is no treatment for this disease. The only possible treatment is following a gluten-free diet that improves the symptoms caused by the disease and prevents the appearance of associated complications.
