At 10:30 in the morning, the presentation day organized by our company began yesterday in the Gonzalo de Berceo Hall of the Riojano Center in Madrid. Sausages Luis Gil y Hejul Oils before various media outlets in the food sector, experts and prescribers from the world of gastronomy who did not want to miss this event with the quality Rioja product, both made in the Ocón Valley (La Rioja).
Héctor Fernández, head of communication at Aceites Hejul, began the presentation of the event with a corporate video where you could see the different harvesting techniques and the production of their extra virgin olive oils, recognized and endorsed by various international awards.
Immediately afterwards, Delia Gil, head of Embutidos Luis Gil, took over, telling the story and family origin of her project of organic Duroc pig farming and production of organic meats and sausages, also supported by a video in which the different Family members talked about their relationship with the countryside and livestock.
After the presentation, attendees were able to taste the different products. Hejul Oils offered aCutting, obtained from the mixture of different olive varieties, from the more than 800 farmers who collaborate.
For our part, at Embutidos Luis we offered two of our most emblematic products, organic Rioja chorizo and ham, made by hand with the meat of piglets raised in freedom and fed with acorns, grasses and organic feed grown on our organic farm in 'El Encinar. '.
For the tasting, we had the special collaboration of Horno Arguiñano and their delicious sobado bread from La Rioja as a perfect accompaniment to the sausages and oil.
At the end of the meeting, attendees received a gift consisting of a bottle of the same oil.Cutting, and an envelope of organic Duroc Ham.
